We both look forward to weekends when we pay a visit to our favourite kopitiam. The kopitiam is located at the corner of a rather serene area in Bangsar. This was one of the first few places that Izwan introduced to me during the first few weeks of us going out. He definitely won my heart with this introduction.
I love the simple concept that the restaurant offers. The restaurant used to be called Straits Food Company but now it is known as Baba Low 486. I am not sure why it is 486 but perhaps I should ask the owner one of these days. The restaurant offers menu ranging from Nasi Lemak, Popiah Peranakan, Laksa, Pai Tee, roti kaya and many more. I have a thing for these kind of breakfast. I am not really a fan of Old Town White Coffee or the likes anymore ever since I discovered Baba Low.
Our big breakfast would consists of Nasi Lemak ayam kunyit, the breakfast set that comes with a kaya bun and two half boiled eggs, my favorite popia peranakan and 2 kopi ais.
